Tried a sexy girl walk – which is why you should too
As a dog owner, morning walks are a regular part of my routine. I’ll set my alarm for 6 a.m., sip coffee, and walk an hour with Toby in tow. I often listen to podcasts, reflect on my day, and stress out the things I can’t control (like turning 30 in a few weeks). As I walked, I thought about how my legs carried me around four marathons, how cute my nails were in a modern manicure look, and how happy I felt with the sun on my face. A therapist once told me “if you don’t say that to a friend, don’t say that to yourself” and starting the day with some positive affirmations about myself made me feel really great.

I was relieved that I got rid of the bullets an hour after Toby—I loved to start the day with a positive mindset, and instead of rushing to my desk feeling stressed, I poured myself another coffee and gave myself a mental pat on the back.
